Corona and the beginning of educational activities

By: Muneer Ahmad Lakhiar

Educational institutions across Punjab, which were closed due to corona virus and winter, reopened on Monday after nearly a month and a half. In the first phase, students of class IX to XII have been invited to the educational institutions. However, alternative day system has been adopted so that only 50% of the students will go to their educational institutions in one day and the other 50% will be called the next day. Will While it is gratifying that educational institutions have reopened, the corona virus is still present, and we need to be even more careful to avoid it. Therefore, all teachers and students must ensure implementation of SOPs. Parents should cooperate with the management of educational institutions and send their children to school and college wearing masks and with all safety measures. The management of educational institutions should also provide students with an environment in which SOPs are fully implemented. Have students use a sanitizer. Provide masks to students who do not have a mask. Maintain social distance and keep children away from each other. At the same time, the students themselves and the teachers should pay special attention to education and provide them with the best learning environment so that the educational damage caused by the long break can be remedied to some extent.
