Dengue intensified in Islamabad, the number of patients exceeded 1000

The dengue virus is on the rise in the federal capital Islamabad.

District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad says dengue is on the rise in the outskirts of the federal capital and 98 people have been affected by dengue in the last 24 hours. 73 cases were reported in areas while 25 cases were reported in urban areas.

According to the DHO, 1,030 people are currently suffering from dengue in Islamabad, 698 in rural areas and 332 in urban areas.
