DHO Shikarpur removes all reservations of parents of a newborn baby who dies after polio vaccination

SHIKARPUR: We have sadness over the death of a 15-day newborn baby namely Umair son of Zubair Ahmed Memon, resident of Memon Muhalla Lakhi Ghulam Shah Shikarpur, and said that he was very weak and his weight was very less than normal newborn boys therefore he was admitted at Sukkur Rangers Hospital under the treatment of Dr. Mumtaz Ali Bharo.
Dr. Shabir Ahmed Shaikh, the District Health Officer Shikarpur, refuted all the baseless propaganda that the newborn boy Umair was died after giving polio vaccination and termed such sort of news as baseless propaganda against the Polio campaign, and said when such rumors raised the parents of the newborn baby boy raised, but their all confusion has been removed.
Dr. Shaikh further rejected all rumors that polio vaccination is expired and it has side effects.
It is worthwhile to mention here that a newborn baby boy has died and rumors have been raised that he died after the vaccination of polio drops.
