Diya Football Club wins Leisure Leagues Women’s Day CUP 2023

KARACHI: Diya Football Club defeated Off Limit (2-1) to clinch the Leisure Leagues Women’s day CUP 2023 Small-sided Football title, which was orgainzed by Leisure Leauges & World Group held at Dreamworld Resort, Karachi to commemorate International Pink October. The match was a thrilling encounter between the two sides.

A total of eight teams participated in the tournament. The teams were Diya FC, Garrison Football Academy, Community Club, Off Limit, Pakistan Soccer Academy, the Learning School, Hazara Girls Academy, and Black Hawks.

Faria Hussain was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament, while, Mehak Hasil was nominated as the Best Goalkeeper.

Asif Meraj Executive Manager from Leisure Leagues, and Tauseef Ali Baig Senior manager Facility & Recreational Head distributed the trophies of the Leisure Leagues Women’s day Cup 2023.

Leisure Leagues wants to create equal opportunities for women and girls in sports. On the occasion of International Pink October Month, Leisure Leagues World Group & Dreamworld Resort arranged an awareness session too.
