Dr. Anwar Figar Hakro Senior Professor, noted writer, research scholar, and Ex-Chairman Department of Sindhi, who was appointed Incharge Dean Faculty of Arts, University of Sindh, Jamshoro on 26th August 2020 and retired recently from the office on 1st April 2021. He was born on 1st April 1961, received his primary and Higher education in shikarpur and then did his PH. D from the University of Sindh Jamshoro.
Apart from that a couple of books regarding literature, detailed profiles of renowned and famous intellectuals and writers viz, Shaikh Ayaz, Agha Saleem and Roshan Ara Mughal et cetera have been produced by the scholar and researcher.
