Educationist, intellectual, religious and researcher, Professor Israr Alvi passes away.

SHIKARPUR: An eminent and renowned personality of Shikarpur, intellectual, religious and researcher, who was has also been at high rank of education, who has also a lot of knowledge of Arabi and Farsi languages, Professor Israr Alvi, the uncle of senior journalist Adeel Alvi, passed away at the age of 77, after a protracted illness at his home, here on Saturday.
Professor Israr Alvi, author of many books and also rendered his services as a Professor at many colleges of Sindh and got retire from Islamia College Sukkur.
Professor Israr Alvi, was always remembered as a soft-spoken person.
His last funeral was offered at Alvi Mohalla next to Pir Fakurullah Shah Alvi at Hathi gate Shikarpur in which a large number of political, religious, representatives of city organizations, journalists including Fazalullah Alvi, Mian Zafar Alvi, Agha Mir Alvi, Mukhdom Nadeem, Sajadanasheen of Khura Sharif, Mian Tanseer Ahmed Alvi, Professor Sayed Arif Hussain, Qari Nisar Ahmed Mangi, Waheed Phulpoto, Abdul Khalique Soomro, Zahid Bhanbhro, Sajjad Sethar, Khalid Khan, Jibran Abro, Irfan Malik, Abdul Wahab Kaghzi, Naseem Bukhari, Zafar Channa, the representatives of Sindhi Adabi Sangat Shikarpur, Ali Asghar Pahore, the chairman Save Shikarpur, and a good number of notables of Shikarpur participated and prayed Almighty Allah to grant a grand palace in heaven for the departed soul.
