ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif has reacted to the President’s letter to the caretaker government.
During a press conference in Islamabad, when asked about the President’s letter, Shahbaz Sharif said that the President, Imran Khan and the Deputy Speaker have violated the Constitution, how can the unconstitutional President respond to the letter.
He said that we are abiding by the constitution and fighting for the protection of the constitution. Let the decision of the court come then we will decide after consultation. We will not allow Imran Khan to leave China.
On this occasion, Bilawal Bhutto said that the President does not have the authority to write this letter in these circumstances, the consultation should be between the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
