Federal Governments Move For Resettlement of Kashmiri Refugees in Sujawal Condemned

SUJAWAL: The Writers, Journalists, Social Activists, Leaders of Political Parties, and nationalist groups have deplored the decision of resettlement of Kashmiri refugees in Sujawal district and have termed this move of the federal government an onslaught on the integrality of Sindh. Chairman of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, Dr. Qadir Mangsi said that Instead of giving Sindh its due rights, the PTI Government had once again tried to deprive Sindh of its resources by resettling refugees in Sujawal district. He Said that PM Khan was once again trying to impose one unit and that step would bring about his downfall.
Senior Vice President of Awami Tehreek, Abdul Qadir Ranto said that; They had witnessed those days as well when a cricketer was allotted a large scale of land in Sindh for hitting only a Six in a cricket match, but people of Sindh would not allow the distribution of their resources now. The Sindh government should not hush up over that key issue, He added.
Resettlement of Refugees in the coastal district is a threat to the demographic structure of Sindh; said, Masroor Shah. While Sinan Qureshi also denounced the ulterior strategy of the federal government.
In the wake of decry over the allotment of the lands for the resettlement of Kashmiri refugees, MPA Mohammad Ali Malkani and Deputy Commissioner M. Ismail Memon came up with the statement that; No final decision was made only a report had been submitted regarding the resettlement of refugees in the district to the Land utilization department of the Federal Government.
