Gunmen kill three, kidnap two near Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: A few unidentified highwaymen opened fire on a van carrying laborers which resulted in death of three men, who included Ali Khan, Bahadur Khan and Abdul Wahid Bugti in the jurisdiction of Naparkot Police Station. The armed men kidnapped two laborers also who were named Muhammad Hussain and Ahmed Hussain. After the incident a protest demonstration was recorded on the Shikarpur-Kandhkot Indus Highway due to which traffic was suspended. The protesters said that the criminals have been given free hand to kill and kidnap for ransom due to which people are feeling insecure. Bugti community men announced to enter the forest areas to take revenge of their three men and ensure the recovery of two abducted men if the police department is not capable of dealing with the criminals. It is worth mentioning that the Indus Highway was closed since past ten hours.
