Here it’s again; Diesel price on rise

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased the price of diesel by Rs 4 per liter for the period from December 1 to December 15, while the prices of petrol, kerosene and light diesel oil have been maintained at the current level. According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance Later, the new price of high speed diesel has been fixed at Rs 105.43 per liter while the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 100.69 per liter, kerosene at Rs 65.29 per liter and light diesel oil at Rs 62.86 per liter. Has borne most of the burden of rising global oil prices. Prices of diesel and other petroleum products fluctuate around the world, but in Pakistan, when diesel or petrol prices rise, it means He also wants to increase the prices of other essential commodities. After the increase in the prices of petroleum products in our country, the method of increasing the prices of transport fares and other essential commodities is quite old. The rise in the price of a barrel of crude oil in the world market makes sense for the increase in the prices of petroleum products, but the change in the prices of these products is beyond comprehension in the country. The government should activate its price control committees to control the prices of essential commodities after the rise in prices of petroleum products. The people are already in the throes of inflation, so the burden of further inflation is unbearable.
