SHIKARPUR: Minster of Energy Imtiaz Ahmad sheikh inaugurated 350 Kv Generator and four rising-man lines of low line and rain water Pumping stations with Rs.200 million we have installed this 350 KV heavy generator which drain out stagnant water, in the absence of electricity, while the four rising man having capacity of 24 and 18 diameters, can pump the drainage water to the ponds. This is said by Provincial Ministry for Energy Imtiaz Ahmad sheikh when he visited the development works at different areas of city. He said that few drains are also under construction in the area of Shahi Bhag, Mari Road, Ibraheem Mosque and Gahri Yaseen chock, which provide huge relief to the inhabitants of these area.
Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh said that small drains are also under construction to cover up the 24 streets of Ibraheem Monique, Alf shah colony and Burira colony. He further said that funds have been allocated for the purchase of land for The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur, and up to 100 acres’ land will be purchased with these funds.
