Journalists of Badin hold protest rally against Israeli brutality and attack over media outlets

BADIN: The journalists of Badin under the umbrella of Hyderabad Union of Journalists took out protest rally on Tuesday against brutal and inhuman act exercised by Israel in Palestine and attack over media outlets.

The protest led by Tanveer Ahmed Arain, president, Badin Press Club, Haji Khalid Mehmood Ghuman, president, Aiwan-e-Sahafat Badin, Shafi Junejo, president, HUJ Badin unit, Haroon Gopang, Shoukat Memon, Hameed Soomro, Sawan Khaskheli, Abdul Majeed Mallah, Mustafa Jamali, Ali Nawaz Channa, Hussain Soomro, Shafi Memon, Rashid Qambrani, Ishaque Sheikh, Ali Muhammad Shahani and others.

They chanted slogans “stop attack over innocent Muslims of Palestine” and “atrocities against Palestinian Muslims unacceptable”.

While addressing the protest Tanveer Arain, Haji Khalid Mehmood Ghuman, Shafi Junejo, Shoukat Memon and other representatives said they stood in solidarity with oppressed Muslims of Palestine and also with media houses which offices were destroyed and damaged by the Israelis saying that cowardly act of muffling the media was condemned by all.

They said Israel intend to thwart the truth by attacking the media. The representatives said Israel was doing could be compared with what India was trying to do also. They said bravo and enthusiastic innocent children, their mothers and other unarmed people of Palestine needed to be applauded for their courage saying that they were using stones and slingshots while facing guns and high-tech war weapons.

The representatives slammed Israel for carrying out genocide of innocent Muslims and also for carrying out airstrikes at the building in Gaza which housed the AL-Jazeera and APP offices. They appealed to the UNO to step up its efforts to de-escalate the war.
