MPA Shaharyar Mahar expresses grave concerns over the poor performance of Shikarpur police

SHIKARPUR: Muhammad Shaharyar Khan Mahar,  MPA PS-8, District Shikarpur has written a letter  to the Inspector General of Police Sindh expressing his grave concerns over worsening the law and order situation in Shikarpur. He has also expressed concerns over registration of fake cases by police, protection of criminals, even SHOs posted on the choice of criminals especially at PS Chak, PS Lakhi, PS Jahan, PS Rustam, PS Ghariyasin, PS Khanpur and PS Madehji few local Sis, ASIS and WHCS openly supporting crime with blessing of SSP. Posters of criminals openly displayed on Roadsides, creating terror and fear amongst poor masses, Extortion, Cattle theft very common almost few incidents every day, most are returned by agents of SHOs after taking ransom, these agents also commit crimes and support criminals, Criminal dens established under police protection, where crime is organized and executed also provide protection to criminals and make deals of ransoms to return stolen buffaloes, goats, tractors and motorbikes, Gambling Dens gamblers from far-flung areas come here to play. The dens are protected by police. At the same places, loans against usury (sood) are given, later on, recovered by force besides The proofs of all above claims are available and will be provided if the matter is investigated furthermore never has Shikarpur district been so criminally infested as it is today under the tenure of SSP Kamran Nawaz. If such officers are left unpunished for their performance and open support of crime and also quoted two references of the District & Session Court Shikarpur in which the district court also directed the Police Chief Shikarpur to arrest killers, and other accused who are freely roaming in the city.
