Nawaz Sharif and Fazlur Rehman talk on Twitter

Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the anti-government opposition Alliance Pakistan Democratic Moment (PDM), had a discussion on social media.

According to the results received so far in the first phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has won the most number of 17 seats while the PML-N has won two seats.

Nawaz Sharif wrote on Twitter that he congratulated Maulana Fazlur Rehman and his comrades on the glorious victory in the first phase of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local body elections.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also thanked Nawaz Sharif on the tweet of the former Prime Minister.

Fazlur Rehman wrote that our common struggle will continue till the complete restoration of democracy, the right of the people to vote, the overthrow of the elected government and the return of Pakistan to a better and sustainable future.
