People of Badin express grave concern over surge of street crime in district

BADIN: A couple of days earlier, some unidentified culprits forcibly snatched a cell phone of Professor Arshad Ali Khaskheli who is currently paying his duties in Government Islamia College Badin as lecturer of chemistry.
In the pertinent case of snatching, the irony was, incident took place in front of the SSP house Badin and adjacent to the Deputy Commissioner House Badin.
According to sources, the matter was immediately brought into the notice of SHO Badin but unfortunately no serious action and tangible efforts were taken so far. Sindh Professors and Lectures’ Association (SPLA) Badin district has expressed their serious concern over the worsening situation of crime in Badin. The SPLA delegation also met SSP Badin in this regard and apprised him accordingly but SPLA awaits the results of the meeting so far.
Other hand, SPLA District Badin has decided to initiate protests and sit -in for the recovery of mobile phones and for maintaining law and order situation in Badin city. Earlier some other residents of the city including Azeem Panhwar, Abdul Malik Chandio, Jabbar Habibani and others were also faced attempts of the street crimes likewise snatches of the cell phones.
