Polio campaign and 14 days coronavirus National Outreach vaccination phase two starts from 21st March

SHIKARPUR : Second dose coronavirus vaccination and booster doze target has not been achieved up to the mark , this is said by Abrar Jafar Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur while presiding a meeting about Polio campaign which will be started on 24th March to 2nd April and coronavirus National Outreach Vaccination campaign phase two starts from 21st March to 2nd April. He further said that surveillance should be improved to get more AFP cases. Mr. Abrar Jafar said that missed children and not available children are found by monitoring teams and that is alarming, micro plan should be reviewed.
Before this Dr Sulah and Dr. Siraj sehto briefed the chair that no case of polio has been reported since two years. They said that few UCs Himayoon,lodran and city four are low performing.
Dr Dr Sulah said that for coronavirus vaccination National Outreach vaccination phase two target is 452,512 , who will receive second dose of vaccination. They further briefed that 3500 people have received booster dose of coronavirus vaccination. Meeting was attended by revenue , health, police and local government officers.
