PPP chairman expresses deep grief over sad demise of writer Usman Rahukro

BADIN: The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in a statement expressed his deep grief over the sad demise of the eminent writer, poet and journalist Mohammad Usman Rahukro of Badin district.
“The service of Mr. Rahukro in promoting Sindhi literature and for highlighting the core issues of the lower Sindh through his articles and write-ups would not be forgotten” he added and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
The PPP chairman said he was very saddened to know about the death of Usman Rahukro and offered his heartfelt condolences with the members of the aggrieved family members.
Rahukro, the senior journalist, poet and author of four books died on Monday at the age of 57 years, due to kidney failure during his treatment in a private hospital of Hyderabad.
The writers, politicians, traders, journalists and people of different walks of life continued to arrive at village Mato Rahukro near Tando Bago town and offered their condolences with his sons, brothers and other family members.
The writers and journalists termed the death of Mr Rahukro as an irreparable loss and demanded the high-ups of the culture department of Sindh government for the publication of his unpublished write-ups on the flows of the dead rivers and on the irrigation system of Sindh.
