BADIN: According to the credible sources, the arrest of newly elected PPP’s member of district Council Badin, Mr. Riaz Ahmed Bohar was made by the JIT team based on the order of the apex Court. The accused was leveled the allegation of allegedly involvement in the kidnapping case of two kids of late judge and shifting them to Baluchistan instead of recovering them despite receiving the hefty ransom.
Despite the intervention of high ups, the release was not yet made possible and according to sources Mr. Bohar was arrested by the officials of Joint Investigation Team cell Karachi at the residence of Badin, located on Seerani Road and shifted him to an unidentified location on the other day.
While the Badin police, when contacted, denied the arrest and expressed disclaim to the conduct the raid against the accused. According to the information received from various sources, the JIT team formed on the order of the apex Court on the request of the wife of a late judge and after conducting the raid, they arrested Mr. Riaz Bohar from Badin after investigation.
According to the credible sources, the accused and another of his fellow members were arrested in the allegation of kidnapping the children of a late judge and transferring them to Baluchistan and selling them to another criminal gang to receive hefty amount while the children still could not be recovered, however.
Credible sources also told, upon the arrival of the Sindh Chief Minister in Badin on the previous day, the local leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party and other local community representatives requested CM Sindh for the release of the arrested accused and his fellow members and the Chief Minister Sindh also approached the IG Sindh, when he informed CM regarding the complications of the arrest matter and IG also informed the CM that release was not possible.
