Prominent businessman Siraj Qasim Tali passed away

Leading Pakistani businessman and former president of Karachi Chamber of Commerce Siraj Qasim Teli has died in Dubai.

Chairman Businessmen Group (BMG) Siraj Qasim was diagnosed with pneumonia and was hospitalized in Dubai for a few days.

Born on May 17, 1953 in Karachi, Siraj Qasim Teli graduated from Government College of Commerce and Economics in 1974.

He has always played an important role in the national economy and public service and in recognition of his services, former President Asif Ali Zardari also awarded him Sitara-e-Imtiaz on March 23, 2011.

Siraj Qasim Teli was considered the voice of Karachi and he always raised his voice and made efforts for the betterment of Karachi’s infrastructure.
