JACOBABAD : Muhammad Panah Khan Odho had been hospitalized in Karachi for several months. His body was brought by ambulance to his native village Muhammadpur Odho where he was buried on Tuesday.
The funeral was attended by thousands of dignitaries from Sindh and Balochistan, locals of tehsil Garhi Khero, party workers, farmers of Sardar Muhammad Panah and thousands of people belonging to Odho tribe. Funeral prayers were offered by his son Ali Ahmad Odho after which he was buried in his ancestral graveyard at Muhammadpur Odho.
Adviser to the Chief Minister Mir Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani, Members of Sindh Provincial Assembly Mumtaz Khan Jakhrani, Dr. Sohrab Sarki, Mir Shehryar Mehr, Member National Assembly Ghous Bakhsh Khan Mehr, Social Leader Haji Sher Muhammad Maghiri, Ahmad Ali Brohi, Mir Faiq Khan Jamali And other dignitaries attended the funeral and offered condolences to his brother DIG Javed Alam Odho and SSP Tanveer Alam Odho. It may be recalled that Sardar Muhammad Panah Odho was a well-known political figure of Jacobabad, a tribal chief and had been the district president of PPP and chairman of Jacobabad district council. It is likely that by tonight Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will reach Jacobabad and offer condolences to the family of Sardar Muhammad Panah Odho.
