BADIN: The Qumi Awami Tehreek took out rally in Talhar against water shortage across the district. The rally began from Badin Bus stop and concluded in front of Press club led by Amjad Leghari, Aijaz Ahmdani, Giyanchand Maheshwari, Mehar Rebari and others & held protest demonstration.
While addressing the gathering the representatives said deliberate shortage of water in Talhar and other taukas of Badin district has caused growers were facing worsen situation while thousands of families associated with agriculture were sustaining starvation. The representatives said prolonged water shortage has caused economic murder of the people of Badin. They said despite of dozens of protests due share of water was not supplied to Badin district. They demanded from government of Sindh for adequate and justified supply of water.
