SHIKARPUR: Ann awareness rally was taken out from Civil Hospital Shikarpur up to Rustam More under the supervision of Muhammad Hanif Pitafi, the ADC-1, and Dr. Shabir Ahmed Shaikh, the District Health Officer Shikarpur, to increase awareness concerning to celebrate immunization week from 24th to 30th April 2021, here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the DHO said that, there are many reported cases of tetanus and also fear to spread other diseases in children therefore we are holding an awareness rally to hold immunization week from 24 April to 30 April to save the kids from 11 dangerous diseases and stressed upon the parents to vaccine their kids furthermore he said that corona cases have also been reporting on a daily basis while 14 new cases have also been reported today and toll has been reached at 118, therefore, people should maintain SOPs.
The leaders of DPCR, SRSO workers, LHWs, Vaccinators and others also participated.
