Renowned Poet, Educationist Ghulam Hussain Rangrez Laid To Rest Amid Teary Eyes

SUJAWAL: Renowned poet, educationist, story writer, and lawyer Ghulam Hussain Rangrez who passed away this morning at the age of was laid to rest in Mian Abdullah graveyard amid mass grief and teary eyes. Sources of his student, admirers, students, and friends lined up outside his residence to shoulder his coffin wrapped in the red flag of JSQM.
His funeral prayers were attended by PPP MPA Mohammad Ali Malkani, MNA Ayaz Shah Shirazi, historian Taj Joyo, social activist Nawaz Khan Zahur, Dr. Mohammad Ali Manjhi, Ramzan Memon, and others.
PPP MPA Mohammad Ali Malkani said that the contributions of Ghulam Hussain Rangrez were unparalleled, adding that he infused courage and bravery among the common folk through his poetry and stories.
Rangrez was an ideal for the young generation; his dedication and commitment toward Sindh would always be remembered, said Niaz Kalani.
Writer Taj Joyo said that he was a source of inspiration for young poets and writers who wanted to serve the country in the field of literature adding that he had left behind an endless legacy that would continue to inspire our coming generations.
His student and Chairman of Sindhi Language Authority Dr. Mohammad Ali Manjhi said that Rangrez had a progressive approach and he wanted to drag the people of Sindhi out of illiteracy and hopelessness and that is why he always taught the lesson of courage and constant struggle. He was a dedicated teacher and very few people knew that he had marvelous command over music.
