SHIKARPUR: A program was arranged to paid great tribute to the famous poet Sharaf Hussain Shah Sharaf in a program held at high school by Sindh Sughand Adabi Sangat Shikarpur Branch, here on Sunday.
Sayed Abid Ali Shah was the chief guest while Ashique Ali Shaikh and Ghani Gamdal were honorary guests.
The program was started under the chair of Sarfraz Sadaf in which a good number of poets, writers, and columnists including Haseeb Nayab Mangi, Azhar Azad Mughal, Abdul Jabbar aka Aijiz Mangi, Muhabat Bablani, Sayed Abid Ali Shah, Ghulam Hyder Abbasi, Sagar Soomro, Nimarno Naseer, Bewas Bahar Soomro, Shakil Pathan, Betab Napar, Abdul Jabbar Abad, Arbab Ali Chohan, Wafa Manzoor Chohan, Manthar Marfani, and others paid homage to Sayed Sharaf Hussain Shah Sharaf by presenting their poetry, Nazams and Gazals and termed his the asset of Shikarpur and demanded the district government that a road should be reserved on his name.
