BADIN: The speakers during the 35th death anniversary of the popular peasant leader Mohammad Fazil Rahu at his village Rahuki on Monday paid their rich homage to the late leader for his enormous services for the peasants and downtrodden people of the region. The proceedings of the event started with laying the flora wreath on Shaheed Fazal Rahu’s grave and offering the Fateha.
While paying the rich tribute to the Shaheed’s services for the peasant and downtrodden people of the Sindh, senior leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former Chief Minister Sindh, Sayed Qaim Ali Shah, Provincial Minister Sindh, Mohammad Ismail Rahu, Information Secretary, PPP Sindh, Senator Aajiz Dhamrah, Advisor to CM Sindh, Rasul Bux Chandio, MNA Ghulam Ali Talpur, MPA Haji Taj Mohammad Mallah, Special Assistant to CM Sindh, Pir Noor Ullah Qureshi, Tanzila Qambrani, Sayed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Haji Sain Bux Jamali, Mohammad Ramzan Chandio, Mohammad Aslam Rahu, Aadil Rahu, Zulfiqar Ali Rahu and others have expressed the gratitude saying that it was the huge affection of the followers and admirers for their leader of the peasants, laborers and deprived and depressed people of the Sindh, Shaheed Fazil Rahu. They said Shaheed Fazal Rahu was the committed leader and who lived & laid down his life for the poor and downtrodden & oppressed people of Sindh adding that Rahuki had always remained the center of the movements to launch struggle for the snatched rights of the people. Speaking to the big public gathering speakers said that Shaheed Fazil Rahu was one few of those leaders, who would long be remembered for their great sacrifices for the democracy and the usurped rights of the people.
On the occasion, they expressed that selected ruler were the followers of dictators saying that PPP would never turn back of the rights of the Sindh and people of Sindh. They said that PTI led Federal Government has snatched the rights of the peasants adding ‘producers of mini budget’ were crying over the local Government ordinance of the province which was of the favor of the province and public. They said that province was facing acute shortage of water and fertilizers but those who called himself “sheer” was seemed hiding himself and sleeping thoroughly adding that it was the high time to get rid of such rulers, who had made the lives of the people miserable in every nook and the corner of the country.
