Russian leader Navalny sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison

Russian leader Alexei Navalny has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for plotting to assassinate President Vladimir Putin.

According to a foreign news agency, Russian leader Alexei Navalny was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for violating parole.

More than 900 protesters have also been arrested in support of Navalny.

The Russian leader’s sentencing has drawn criticism from Western nations, with Russia warning Western nations not to interfere in its internal affairs.
