Saudi Arabia expresses conditional readiness for relations with Israel

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan has agreed to conditional relations with Israel.

According to Arab media, the Saudi Foreign Minister said in a statement that a Palestinian state should be established before normal relations with Israel. Saudi Arabia has always been ready to establish full normal relations with Israel.
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan also said that Israel needed a place in the region and the establishment of a Palestinian state for sustainability.

He said the focus should be on bringing Israelis and Palestinians back to the negotiating table, adding that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state would bring real peace to the region.
