Senate elections to be held on March 3: Election Commission

The Election Commission has released the schedule for the elections to the Upper House (Senate) of the Pakistani Parliament.

According to the schedule issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, the Senate elections will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
The last Senate elections were also held on March 3, 2018.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced to hold the Senate elections ahead of schedule which was rejected by the opposition parties.
