SHIKARPUR: The nominated central suspect in the murder of a father and son one day ago in the jurisdiction of Bado Police Station were arrested by the police on orders of SSP Shikarpur. The killed men were named Deedar S/o Gulzar Ahmed Channa and Gulzar Ahmed Channa S/o Qadir Bux Channa, who were brought from the village of Momin Wadhu to the local area hospital. The murder case, FIR number 22/2023 under sections 302, 148, 149 PPC, was registered at Thana Bado on the complaint of the brother of the deceased. SSP Shikarpur, Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan, upon receiving the information, immediately took notice and formed a special team consisting of DSP and SHOs to task for the arrest of the suspects. DSP Garhi Yasin, Khuda Buksh Panhwar and SHO Bado, along with their staff, using modern technical systems, traced and arrested the accused Bashir Ahmed S/o Muhammad Suleman Wadho involved in the murder case. Meanwhile, actions are underway for the arrest of other involved suspects. During interrogation, the accused confessed that he had committed the murder on the basis of a personal dispute over leasing and cultivating the land of Aqeel Memon, along with his accomplices Rabnawaz S/o Hatim and Rashid S/o Bashir Ahmed Wadho. SSP Shikarpur appreciated the team for the timely arrest of the accused involved in the murder, while further actions are being taken for the arrest of the remaining suspects.
