Sit-in demands justice for a rape victim

By: Adeel Alvi

SUKKUR: A large number of workers, led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) City Sukkur, staged a sit-in in front of Sukkur Press Club to provide justice to the heirs of an innocent girl who was raped. Sukkur President Bilal Soomro, Taluka New Sukkur’s Liaquat Dariho, Hassan Shah, Saba Balqis Bhatti, Gul Hassan Chachar and others were participating. The participants were holding placards and banners in their hands. Sexual incidents with innocent girls are on the rise in Sindh due to non-punishment of people due to incompetence of the people. Despite the protests of the people, the government of Sindh is not crawling on the ears of the wild beasts in Sukkur. We express our sympathy with the heirs of the innocent girl Zainab and demand from the higher authorities to bring the accused involved to justice and execute them in public. It should be hung on the mirror so that such incidents do not happen.
