Syed Qalandar Shah Lakyari remembered on his third death anniversary

JAMSHORO: The third  death anniversary of renowned scholar, educationist, writer and poet Syed Qalandar Shah Lakyari was observed here at his last resting place, village Sain Dino Mallah. Talking to the media Qutb Ali Shah, Sardar Ali Shah, Faisal Tamimi, Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, Syed Suleman Shah and others said that Syed Qalandar Shah worked for the betterment of education throughout his life. Paying a rich tribute to him they said that he was a man like his name. He loved education very much and education was the focus of all his the activities. His services will always be remembered and his demise has left a vacuum which will never be filled. He belonged to a very poor family yet he was able to rise and achieve excellence purely on the basis of his hard work. Prof Qalandar’s passing away is a great loss for our society and regretted that we couldn’t take proper advantage of his knowledge and experience when he was alive. The Sufi singers from Bhit Shah also paid a rich tribute through Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhita’is poetry.
