Targeted police operations will be continued against dacoits, kidnappers, and anti-social elements, says SSP Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: Targeted police operation will be continued till the elimination of crimes and criminals within the limits of Shikarpur District and in this regard, I have written a letter to the Inspector General of Police Sindh and demanded further police force to extend targeted police operation and also demanded further technical assistance.
This was said by the newly posted SSP Shikarpur Tanveer Tunio during a brief gathering held at his office with the president Shikarpur Union of Journalists Shikarpur Agha Israr Pathan and other senior journalists including Abdul Salam Unar, Zahid Noon, Abdul Khalique Soomro, Ibrahim Brohi, Abdul Hakeem Jatoi, Araf Qureshi, and others.
Police chief Shikarpur further said when we may get further police force we would further strengthen and police could easy eliminate criminals and criminal activities, he, however, further said that all the police personnel would be equipped with the latest camera to see in dark mood deployed at Katcha Areas of Shikarpur mainly Garhi Tegho, Chak and others so that police could keep a vigilant eye over the activities of dacoits.
Mr. Tunio further said that all the kidnappees have been recovered except one and who would also be recovered.
He, however, appealed to the journalists of Shikarpur to cooperate with the police and highlight genuine issues so that the genuine issues would be resolved for the welfare of the people of Shikarpur.
Agha Israr Pathan ensured the SSP Shikarpur, on the behalf of his union, that journalists would cooperate with police and avoid negative propaganda against police.
