Tension engulfs coastal belt after weather threat and alert of tropical cyclone

Badin: After alert and weather threat by Pakistan Metrological Department and Provincial Disaster Management Authority government of Sindh the Deputy Commissioner Badin, Agha Shahnawaz Khan has issued a circular to all heads of departments of district Badin and directed to remain alert and ensure their presence in headquarter. The Deputy Commissioner also directed to take necessary precautionary measures to avert damages. Earlier, DC Badin visited different villages of coastal belt and directed fishermen to avoid to rush for catching fish in deep sea and move back to their huts prevailing cyclone alert. It was learnt that control room was also established by the district management Badin to keep vigile eye in connection of tropical cyclone. On the other hand, during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has declared cyclone emergency in districts of the province lying on the coastal belt of Sindh so that any untoward situation could be tackled.
