Three Injured In Armed Clash

SUJAWAL: At least three people were injured critically in an armed clash that broke out in village Kothi of Taluka Jati district Sujawal here on Tuesday. The two groups of Thaheem and Themore tribe opened fire at each other leaving three of them injured critically. The injured identified as Qadir Bux Themore, Asghar Thaheem, and Sadam Thaheem were rushed to Taluka hospital Jati but later moved to Civil Hospital Thatta owing to the severity of wounds where doctors were struggling to save their lives.
The area police stood guard in the village to deter flare-up, according to SHO a strong contingent has been deployed in the area to curb any further violence.
According to reports reaching here, the two groups were at daggers drawn over a matrimonial dispute and the armed skirmish broke out in relation to that dispute. The armed assailants of the Thaheem tribe stormed the houses of the Themore community reacting to that attack the people of Themore community resorted to firing.
The first information report of the incident could not be registered till the filing of this report.
