KHAIRPUR: The Spokesperson of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur has refuted the perception created by District Reporter of a local daily in which he has attributed that Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto has used indecent words against Shah Abdul Latif University Teachers’ Association (SALUTA) and Employees Welfare Association (EWA) Representatives. The Spokesperson has clarified that the Reporter has exaggerated and miss leaded the facts of interview of the Vice Chancellor.
It is clarified that the Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto has always listened the voice of the all stakeholders in a democratic manner and resolved the genuine and legitimate issues of the all teachers, officers, employees and students. The term used in the news item published by the Correspondent “Blackmailing” not uttered by the Vice Chancellor against any person but he narrated in the statement that he firmly believed in the process of dialogue, negotiation and discourse. As result, most of the genuine problems of the all stakeholders have been resolved.
The Spokesperson has clarified that the Vice Chancellor has not interviewed against SALUTA or any person of the University, the interview was solely to apprise the media about the developmental initiatives taken by the Vice Chancellor. The Spokesperson has narrated that although the SALUTA leadership has leveled allegations that Vice Chancellor is using 10 vehicles under his control parked at Vice Chancellor Secretariat but there is only one car which is under the use of the Vice Chancellor as official vehicle/car. It is recalled that the first ever in the history of the Shah Abdul Latif University that Vice Chancellor has fixed the ceiling of POL of this car.
The Spokesperson has maintained that the Vice Chancellor has called upon all the stakeholders to contribute positively in the soft image building of the institution, work together because this institution is our national institution.
