SHIKARPUR: Shikarpur has become a hub of tribal disputes and once again claimed a precious life of a youth belonging to Chandio community man at Begari road in a firing over the matrimonial issue, in the limits of Lakhi gate police station, here on Tuesday.
A youth identified as Nisar Chandio was gunned down said to be his alleged cousins and managed to escape from the place of firing.
Police confirmed the incident and said that the incident took place between two groups of Chandio community over an ongoing dispute of matrimonial.
It was reported that the deceased youth was at home and he was called by his cousins and shot him dead.
Area police moved the body to a nearby hospital and handed the body to his real heirs after conducting necessary medical formalities.
Neither an FIR was lodged nor police have made any arrest till filing of this news file.
