Civil society takes out rally against increase in drug sale-consumption in Jati

SUJAWAL: Members of the Civil Society, Jati Action committee, students, and traders took out a rally in Jati against the increase in sale and consumption of drugs in the area, particularly in jati town.
Addressing the participants of the rally Zahid Ishaque, Ramzan Memon, Wafa Ghulam Hussain Shah, Shan Qureshi, and others said that. The tally of drug users was soaring in the area that included a large number of youngsters and teenagers, they said that the drug peddlers had the backing of those who were authorized by the government to stop that. Expressing sheer concerns they said that; if drug consumption continued it would inflict inexorable loss to the young generations.
They warned that if all that continued similarly a shutter down strike would be called on 12th February followed by a long march.
