Doctors, paramedics , supporting staff of Indus Hospital Badin protest for their demands

BADIN: The large number of doctors, paramedics, supporting staff and others of Indus hospital Badin held protest outside of main gate of the Indus Hospital Badin on Tuesday for assurance of timely disbursement of the employee’s salaries and provision of increment, high risk allowance, Covid-19 allowance and others rights and benefits directly related with yearly budget of the hospital.

 

During the employees protest the security guards have threatened and pressurized the journalists amid to avoid of proper media coverage of the protestant doctors, paramedics and others staffers of Indus hospital.

Security Incharge, Abdul Razak Hakro and Abdul Hassan Soomro forcibly snatched the mobile of Sawan Khaskheli, senior journalist of Badin Press Club, senior staff reporter and harassed him for more than half an hour and returned back snatched mobile to him after interference of the local media heads and stern protest of the protestants.

 

Other hand, Deputy Commissioner Badin and Senior Superintendent of Police Badin have also taken stern notice of the misbehaved and rigorous and abusive attitude of the security incharge of Indus Hospital Badin and assured the journalists for the justice when the journalists of Badin strongly demanded swift action against the security incharge of Indus Hospital Badin who a week ago, also had severely misbehave with another senior journalist Badin, Raja Shakeel Ahmed Ghanchi.

 

Other hand, protestants led by Dr. Tabish Malik, Fazal Panhwar, Junaid Rajput, Bilawal Jaffery, Arslan Mughal and others while protesting said that employees of the Indus hospital were being deprived of the salaries increment, overtime, leaves encashment, Covid allowance, high risk allowance, promotions and market adjustment salaries since last of three years.

 

The protestants apprised that there were thousands of employees giving their services in the Indus Hospital Badin and nowadays they were facing snags to fulfill needs of the families due to negligence of the heads of Indus hospital Badin.

Meanwhile they boycotted the out-patient departments of the Indus hospital for several hours and the protestants vowed to continue their protest till their demands were met by the concerned authorities of Indus Hospital.

Hundreds of patients coming from far-off places also suffered a lot in the protest as they had to return without getting treatment.
