SHIKARPUR: Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho on Saturday visited Civil and Ganga Bail Hospital Shikarpur. Provincial minister for energy Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, Parliamentary Secretary Health Qasim Siraj Soomro and Health Secretary Kazim Hussain Jatoi were also present on the occasion.
According to the details Provincial Health Minister inspected the various wards of the Civil Hospital to find out about patients’ facilities. The Minister of Health then visited Ganga Bai women’s hospital and visited various parts of the hospital where she showed dissatisfaction over the condition of medical store and said if the medicines were nor not kept properly they would not of any use and the patients would not be able to get the benefits. Speaking to the media on the occasion, the provincial health minister said that the women’s hospital is in the middle of the city so that more facilities would be given to it and she would keep personal watch on the hospital. Responding to a question she said that there were treatment facilities at every district headquarters hospital in Sindh. Medicines and machines will be provided along with specialist doctors in DHQs.
