Hundred wheelchairs handed over to district hospital managed by Indus Hospital

BADIN: A National organisation ‘Dawood Global Foundation’ under its program titled with “Ladies Funds” handed over hundred wheelchairs to the management of district Hospital managed by Indus Network amid to facilitate the patients and Person with disabilities (PWDs).
According to details, the renowned social activist and head of ‘Ladies Funds’ of Dawood Global Foundation Ms. Tara Azra Dawood along with Barkat Ali Sehto, representative of OGDL and Pir Muhammad Saleh Qureshi, leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and others stakeholders visited District Hospital managed by Indus Network and handed over hundred of wheelchairs to management of Indus hospital Badin and others PWDs individuals after organising an event in District Hospital managed by Indus Network.
While addressing the participants of the events, Ms. Tara Azra Dawood maintained that her organisation was providing the facilitations to poor and hardworker labourers of large cities of the Pakistan adding she told that different initiatives were being launched for the facilitation and support of downtrodden and righteous persons. Under its the welfare objectives, The DGF has been handed over thousands of wheelchairs among persons with Disabilities and others patients in the country, she added.
She observed that in the collaboration with different institutions and organisations including Shell Pakistan, Albarka Bank, Islamic Bank, Bank Islami, IFWA & others was carrying out the different social and welfare activities in across the country, saying that with support of humanitarian and kind personality Amad Siddiqui, DGF was continually providing thousands of wheelchairs to the poor patients and Persons with Disability.
On the occasion, leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Pir Muhammad Saleh Qureshi and Director Indus Network Badin, Dr. Ikhlaque Ahmed have while giving thanks to management of DGF for provision of wheelchairs to poor patients, said that serving of the nation and poor persons was not less than a worship. Adding they said that Government has no sufficient resources and it couldn’t provide proper education and health facilities to the poor individuals saying that social institutions and organisations should come forward to join the hands for this better cause.
On the occasion PPP representative, Abdul Rehman Baloch and Kamran Berhmani, Mukhtiarkar and others were also accompanied with DGF team.
