SHIKARPUR: Advocate Rashid Ali Chandio has filed a petition in the court of the District and Session Judge Shikarpur after his son fell into a sewerage line in Tharopur. The minor boy was rescued by the local people, who rushed him to the Civil Hospital Shikarpur. The minor boy has been referred to Sukkur where he is facing critical condition. The complainant has appealed the court to take action against the negligent officials due to which the honorable court has summoned DC Abrar Ahmed Jaffar, CMO Abid Saleem Rajpar and other officials. The district officials have been directed to appear in the court on the 5th March. It is worth mentioning that another boy named Ayaz Ali had also drowned in an open manhole one month ago.
