ISLAMABAD: A further 71 people have died from the corona virus in the country, while another 2,545 people have been confirmed with the virus.
According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 40,090 tests were conducted across the country in 24 hours, of which 2,545 people were confirmed to have the virus and 71 died.
According to the NCOC, the total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has reached 9,080 while the total number of cases has reached 448,522 out of which the number of active cases is 42,851.
According to the NCOC, the rate of corona cases coming positive in 24 hours was 6.3 while 7993 patients of corona recovered in 24 hours after which 396,591 patients have recovered so far.
The highest death toll from Corona was in Punjab at 39, followed by Sindh at 15, KP at 13, Islamabad at 3 and Kashmir at one.
