Former fast bowler of the national cricket team Shoaib Akhtar while commenting on the embarrassing defeat at the hands of New Zealand said that the national team played cricket at the school level on the ground.
While Shoaib Akhtar openly expressed his displeasure with the players, he also expressed his displeasure with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Expressing his views, Shoaib Akhtar blamed the cricket board for the national team’s defeat.
Shoaib Akhtar said that the PCB is reaping what it sowed. If they continue to put average people in important posts and select average players in the team, the results will not be any different.
Shoaib Akhtar said the national team was playing cricket at the school level.
He said that the performance of the national team was very disappointing, club level teams will also perform better than that, this team will face such a bad defeat whenever it plays Test cricket.
It may be recalled that on the fourth day of the Christchurch Test, the host team New Zealand defeated Pakistan by an innings and 176 runs.
