JIMS Jacobabad entertained thousands of poor patients of Sindh and Baluchistan

JACOBABAD: Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS) Jacobabad spokesman Khalid Ahmed Soomro shared monthly progress of JIMS through a press release for the month of December 2020 in a press release stating that in December 2020 alone 145 dog bite patients were vaccinated. In addition, 43487 patients were examined and given medicines and 2290 patients were admitted to the ward while 141 general surgeries were performed. He also reported that normal delivery was made 249, Caesars 318 while dialysis of 632 patients was held at JIMS in the last month .According to Khalid Soomro, ultrasound 3339, X-Ray of 2080 and physiotherapy of 855 patients were also held. In addition, 664 patients in Chest-Pan center were given first aid, endoscopy of 4 patients and 49 patients went under fibro scan. The spokesman shared that patients managing capacity of JIMS is increasing day by day and the management of this institute is well aware how to accommodate poor people for this arrangments have been widen , staff capacity have been increased and vigilance of staff progress is ongoing process.
