SHIKARPUR: An aged villager identified as Amanullah Gorshani by caste shot dead by unknown armed assailants at village Sadohro Gorshani, over the matrimonial issue, in the limits of Hamayoon Police Station, here on Wednesday.
Muhammad Bux Naich, the SHO of the concerned police station, told this scribe that a few unknown armed assailants stormed the house of Amanullah Gorshani and shot him dead and managed to escape from the place of firing after conducting a heinous crime.
Following on the information, area police rushed on the spot and moved the body of the deceased to a nearby hospital and handed over the body of the deceased after conducting necessary medical-legal formalities.
Prima facie, it is a dispute of matrimonial issue further investigation is into the matter, SHO said.
Neither an FIR was lodged nor police have succeeded in arresting the killers till filing of this news file.
