JACOBABAD : According to a police statement, a four-day operation was carried out against the dacoits in Panho Bhatti police station of Garhi Khairo tehsil of Jacobabad and a heavy contingent of Larkana and Qambar police led by SSP Jacobabad Tariq Nawaz in Dodapur. During the raids, the notorious robber Bharo son of Taro Dhani, Khano son of Noor Muhammad Dhani, Saru son of Bajjar Katohar, Mir Gul Katohar, Piaro Dhani and Kalo Katohar son of Ramzan Katohar and other accused’s safe havens and forts were demolished and set on fire. The wanted accused Juma son of Kalu Katuhar, Pandhi alias Nazir son of Meira Katuhar, Ali Murad son of Kehar Katuhar and Khadim Hussain son of Lal Bakhsh Katuhar were arrested.According to the police, operations are underway against accused belonging to different tribes including Katuhar, Dahani, Malghani and other gangs at various places to rid Garhi Khairo taluka of robbers and criminals. While police check posts have been set up at various places within the limits of Panhun Bhatti and Dodapur police stations to maintain law and order, SSP Tariq Nawaz said that all possible steps are being taken to maintain law and order. Police are working day and night to bring people to justice.
