The Pak-China Economic Corridor project has been a thorn in the side of Narendra Modi’s jealous, narrow-minded and bigoted government from day one, which has been manifested day after day. Recently, the Indian Prime Minister made a baseless claim that a major terrorist plot of a Pakistan-backed organization has been foiled in occupied Kashmir. He accused Pakistan of being involved in global terrorism on the basis of this unsubstantiated allegation, which reinforced the Pakistani government’s fear that the Modi government would fabricate a fake act of terrorism and blame it on Pakistan and call it Pakistan. C-Pak is paving the way for a major operation to sabotage the project by justifying its aggression against the Taliban. The seriousness of the Indian leadership’s intentions can be gauged from the fact that the Chinese Foreign Ministry considered it necessary to immediately take notice of the Modi government’s false propaganda and its spokesperson sent a clear message to those conspiring against the Economic Corridor project. He said that China appreciates Pakistan’s efforts in the fight against terrorism at the international level. In his statement, the spokesman clarified that China would continue to support Pakistan against terrorists and the C-Pac project
Attempts to sabotage will be thwarted by the two countries’ allies in all seasons. On China’s statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi made it clear that Pakistan is fully prepared and committed to safeguarding the C-Pac project. He said that Pakistan was striving for peace and stability in the region while India was engaged in conspiracies to destabilize Pakistan. Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed that India wanted to target the plans of Pakistan and C-Pak through state terrorism. He disclosed that the Modi government has allocated about Rs 80 billion to thwart C-Pak and this money is to be used to target C-Pak projects for terrorist attacks. The Foreign Minister clarified that Pakistan is committed to safeguarding the C-Pack project in any case. He said that Pakistan and China would work together to safeguard the project and bring it to fruition. In response to a question, he pointed out the fact that the C-Pac project was beneficial for the entire region. Our future is linked to the projects, China is well aware of the Indian conspiracy, China has a huge investment in the C-Pack project and its engineers and workers are working here, if those projects are targeted in any way. If it goes, China and Pakistan will never remain silent. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the issue would be raised by Pakistan in the next meeting of the OIC and the whole world would be warned about the dangerous game that India was planning to play in the region. The gravity of the situation is evident from the swift and full response of China and Pakistan to Narendra Modi’s allegations. The path to accession has been kept open, but the Modi government, based on the Chanakya philosophy of neighborly enmity, is engaged in insane attempts to destroy the Pak-China component of this great project, the C-Pack, but China and Pakistan are fully united to thwart them. The disgraceful failure of the Modi government is written on the wall.
