PUBG Fever: Youth injured in a scuffle over losing game

THATTA: A youth was injured critically when a brawl broke out between the two groups over PUBG game outside a shopping mall here late on Wednesday. Source told that two groups of youth belonging to the Brohi and Mirjut community exchanged hot words and hurled abuses at each other over losing an online game PUBG. That heated argument between the two groups turned into a skirmish in no time leaving a youth Yasir Brohi injured critically. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Thatta where he got emergency treatment and was discharged later. “Injured boy received blows of stick on his head; said an onlooker. The intervention of the police was sought to defuse the tension that had engulfed the area following the scuffle.
Parents urged higher authorities to ban the game that has put the life of their children at risk
