The protest rally was carried out on the call given by the Qomi Awami Tehreek Shikarpur, against the brutal murder of journalist Ajay Lalwani and the forcible conversion of Hindu woman Kawita.
While addressing the sit-in leaders said that there is a democratic government in Sindh, but it is a pity that freedom has been banned. The government allegedly involved in killing the people and being framed in fabricated and false cases as well as being treated harshly at the behest of dacoits.
The journalist community has been caught in false cases while Sindh has been mourning over the murder of a journalist named Ajay Lalwani, but neither the killers of a journalist have been arrested nor the police have found any clue of the killers.
