BADIN: Rise in robberies, theft, unrest and distress and strife in district Badin. In the few days many incidents of theft and robberies, mobile and bikes snatching recorded as on the hype.
Last night’s dawn, the young boy Qasim Soomro who who was going to city for selling out the vegetables and some unknown robbers have tried to stop him at village Pir Bux Mugheri near Badin and failing that robbers opened the straight firing consequently, young man, Qasim Soomro has died on the spot.
Hundreds of citizens, members of soomro community brethren and social activists gathered at DC chowk Badin and staged sit in and protest demonstration along with corpse of late Qasim Soomro.
They chanted loudly slogans against the Badin police for its deep negligence towards maintaining the law and order situation in Badin and failing to provide protection to the citizens.
On the occasion Protestants also announced to shutter down strike in city and settled the shamyana (Canopies) on the main road near SSP office Badin while demanding the justice with family of late Qasim Soomro and Badin citizens.
